Two decades of magic in Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris celebrates its 20th anniversary and wants you to come along!

Twenty years ago, Disneyland Paris opened its gates for the first time. This year, the world famous amusement park will give you the chance to celebrate it’s 20th anniversary like you never imagined. Let the disney magic take you and your family through an amazing experience and grace you with memories that will last for a lifetime!

Only 20 minutes from the centre of Paris, there has never been a more suitable opportunity for you to finally meet all your favorite Disney characters in person. From April to September 2012, Europe’s most visited themed attraction is going all out for its birthday, except this time the gift will be for you. Opening never-done-before shows, parades, and a few other surprises, the holiday you spend celebrating with Mickey  Mouse and his friends will surely be one you treasure forever.

Brand-new shows

Disneyland Paris tickets bring more value today than ever. After a day of enjoying all the attractions the park has to offer, the families will gather together at sunset to attend the incredible new night-time show, Disney Dreams®. An array of lasers, sounds and astonishing fireworks will surround Sleeping Beauty’s castle as Peter Pan’s shadow escapes from him to bring you along a fantastic journey, where you’ll revive the classic Disney stories and adventures. This journey of lights, music, sound, fountains and magic will wrap you up in Disney Dream’s multicolored reality long after it approaches its extraordinary finale.

But don’t think for a second that this will be the only novelty you’ll encounter during your day in Disneyland Paris! Apart from its already incredible rides and features, such as Adventureland, the Phantom Manor, or the Indiana Jones rollercoaster for the adrenaline lovers, the 20th anniversary brings you a better-than-ever Disney Magic on Parade!, in which on Main Street U.S.A® you’ll be invited to join Mickey and his friends in a gleeful carnival of magical stories and pixie dust.  Even more, you will have chance to meet the world’s most loved mouse face-to-face when Mickey takes you backstage of his theatre, where he will take a picture with you and your family while he shows you some of his favorite props and costumes.

During the day, if you go to Disneyland Park’s Central Plaza the festive Birthday Train will be waiting for you and take you for a ride you’ll never forget. In this celebration train, the classic Disney icons like Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Pluto, Goofy and Chip and Dale will take turns to meet their fans and friends as you approach the magical Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.
